Since 2007, I strive to create games that bring emotions to players regardless of the platform. Leveraging all the available tools at my disposal, I aim to make the creation of these games as entertaining for my team by being a proactive communicator, team player and problem solver.

Brewing the next generation of Game Designers

After playing a key role in the inception of the Arc Academy, I joined the pioneering team of experts coming from major Bulgarian studios as a Game Design Teacher and Jury member. Since 2019, we helped more than 100 students to master the craft of game development, leading to hires in studios worldwide.

  • Defined a new, dictionnary level, vocabulary for our design department to harmonize communication and expectations across all 4 projects.
  • Reworked the entire documentation workflow to synchronize the design process with Confluence and the SCRUM methodology during our 2-month long update cycle.

Associate Producer

Interplay

  • Worked as a Liaison officer between the L.A. based office in charge of the Design, and the Bulgaria production office Masthead Studios in order to deliver a massively ambitious Fallout MMORPG.
  • Introduce a light SCRUM framework to improve our implementation cycles in between new creative brief deliveries from Irvine.
  • Immersed myself in the wasteland of Drudzhba neighborhood, drawing inspiration from abandonned buildings and sidewalk sellers.

The Mighty Troglodytes

  • As the main game designer on “Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow” I had to retro-engineer the 16MB Nintendo DS game and design a game that would fit in 800KB of the nokia K800.
  • Obtained the “Bronze Award” from PocketGamer
  • Received official congratulations from the original game team for the quality and level of fidelity of the mobile game

  • Brought the project on the path to profitability in under 6 months by rebalancing the roadmap to reduce high-cost centers without compromising on quality.
  • Improved community engagement by being more transparent, introducing community focused activities and implementing social features.

  • From early ideation to worldwide release, I have been part of the Core Team of War Planet Online and helped shape its innovations in term of Tycoon, World Map and Combat systems.
  • Iterated through more than 6 complete variations of the Crafting System, leading to a sustainable, expandable and highly profitable feature for the past 7 years.
  • Mentored our Combat Designer from Junior up to Lead. He managed the team by himself after update 8.
